WELCOME TO REMAKING RECESS!
Remaking Recess is an evidence-based psychosocial intervention designed to help children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) engage with peers at school. It was developed by the Autism Intervention Research Network on Behavioral Health (AIR-B), a group of autism researchers from around the country.
Our goal is to share our strategies with others so that you can begin Remaking Recess at your own school! Whether you're a parent, teacher, administrator, aide, or advocate, there are steps you can take to increase the quality of children's social interactions at school today! So check out words from our team, free downloadable resources, and videos that show the intervention in action!
